Dr. Daniel Farwell, PT, DPT

Dr. Dan Farwell graduated with his BS in Physical Therapy from the Loma Linda University in 1981. He received his Masters in Biokinesiology and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University Southern California in 1999. He was the director / owner of Body Rx Physical Therapy, a private practice, out-patient, orthopedic clinic from 1985 – 2007. 

He began his teaching career in 1999, as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy at the University of Southern California. After several years of developing successful, physical therapy, medical model and wellness clinics, he accepted an offer to join the physical therapy faculty at Azusa Pacific University as a full-time Assistant Professor. 

Dr. Farwell is involved with the orthopedic curriculum, and is also a primary instructor in the Administration and Wellness courses. He also works as a part time Physical Therapist at Azusa Physical Therapy Associates, as well as assisting the APU Sports Medicine Department treating orthopedic and sports injury clientele. In hisdown time, he enjoys playing golf, cheering for the “Cougs” and “Trojans”, and spending time with his family.
