Dr. Marshall LeMoine, PT, DPT OCS, SCS, FAAOMPT

Marshall LeMoine

Dr. Marshall LeMoine is a Clinical Specialist II physical therapist at Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles (KPWLA). He is also clinical faculty in the Kaiser Permanente Southern California Orthopedic Physical Therapy (PT) Residency program, where he has been mentoring orthopedic PT residents for the last 2 years. He is currently the Coordinator for Clinical Education of physical therapy students from 8 Southern California PT schools.

Dr. LeMoine completed a residency and two orthopedic fellowships (Movement Science and Spine) while with Kaiser. Dr. LeMoine is adjunct faculty at Azusa Pacific University, Doctor of Physical Therapy Program, teaching Musculoskeletal PT, with an emphasis on Movement analysis, faults and coordination deficits. Dr. LeMoine currently lives in Marina Del Rey, CA, enjoying weekends outdoors with his beautiful wife Anne, 7 month-old daughter Riley, and their terrific dog Ellie.

Dr. LeMoine is adjunct faculty at Azusa Pacific University, Doctor of Physical Therapy Program, teaching Musculoskeletal PT, with an emphasis on Movement analysis, faults and coordination deficits.

Dr. LeMoine graduated from Whittier College with a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology with an emphasis in PT in 2005, and from Azusa Pacific University with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2008. He completed the Kaiser Permanente Southern California Orthopedic Residency in 2009, then passing the Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) exam. Dr. LeMoine also completed the Kaiser Permanente Movement Science Fellowship in 2010, the Kaiser Permanente Orthopedic Spine Fellowship in 2011, and is currently awaiting approval for Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT) from the APTA. He and the three other Spine fellows in 2011, were awarded the research project of the year award from the other Southern California Kaiser Permanente PT Programs that year.

Dr. LeMoine has been a member of the APTA and Orthopedic section for 8 years. He has been a part of the Orthopedic membership committee team (2011-2013), as well as acting as a mentor in the Orthopedic Section mentoring program for new grads. He also is a site Visitor for the APTA Fellowship and Residency Program Credentialing Committee.

Dr. LeMoine has been co-author on 3 published papers, as well as involved in data collection for two others. He has also helped create presentations and lectures for the CPTA and the Kaiser Permanente Orthopedic Sports Fellowship.
